The Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra is a combination of three national parks in Indonesia that cover more than 25,000 km. This rainforest has been logged and industrialized to the point of making it an endangered area. While it is still home to some of the most unusual and unique species of animal and plant life, steps are being taken to protect this area even more. The fight for land and plantations continues despite efforts to save this beautiful rainforest from total destructions.
