Top 20 Caribbean Hikes
The Pitons, St. Lucia
The remarkable Pitons in St. Lucia will grab your attention as soon as you see the island. These volcanic mountains feature two of the toughest hikes worldwide. Gros Piton gloriously stands 2,619 feet above sea level, while the Petit Piton is the iconic peak of St. Lucia, reaching 2,457 feet above sea level. Don’t assume the taller volcano is more challenging though, Petit Piton is incredibly steep, making it far more challenging and dangerous. Simply put, Petit Piton is not for the faint of heart.
