Top 20 Caribbean Hikes
By Kate Wilke |
Pico Turquino, Cuba
Cuba’s tallest mountain, Pico Turquino, has an elevation of 6,469 feet. This peak lies in the heart of the Sierra Maestra National Park, which is home to the world’s smallest toad. You’ll want to take the hike that begins at Alto del Naranjo in Granma Province. This will take you two or three days, but you’re guaranteed the best views on the island versus any other route.
