Top 20 Caribbean Hikes

By  |

Boiling Lake, Dominica

Dominica is often called the “Nature Island” of the Caribbean. The continual rain creates a foggy, wet, and muddy environment. Despite these conditions, Dominica is blooming with lush rainforest and views unlike anywhere else. The twelve-mile roundtrip hike to Boiling Lake ventures through Mourne Trois Pitons National  Park. If you’re a “Pirates of the Caribbean” fan, then you’ll recognize many scenes from the movie throughout your hike. After you reach the bubbling hot spring at the top, you’ll come upon a milder sulphuric pool on your way back to take a swimming break.
