Lake Clark National Park And Preserve
First preserved as a National Monument, Lake Clark was upgraded to National Park status in 1980. Located around 100 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska, Lake Clark National Park has unique features from other parks in the region. A coastline with rainforests, two volcanoes, glaciers and glacial lakes, and an alpine tundra all make Lake Clark National Park one of the most beautiful locations in the state.
