Alaskan brown bears make home in Katmi National Park and Preserve, which is nestled in the mountains near the town of King Solomon. This gem is noted for it’s massive wildlife populations as well as the great Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes that formed after the Novarupta volcanic eruption in 1912.
