Chefchaouen, Morocco

A serene escape in the Moroccan desert.

The Moroccan city of Chefchaouen is a delight for European tourists who come to see the blissfully blue buildings. Painted by Jewish refugees who lived in the city in the 1930s, Chefchaouen remains untouched to this day. Set against the stunning views of the Rif Mountains, it’s no wonder tourists can’t get enough of the city.
