16 Extreme Places People Actually Live
By Mandy Burkholder |
Supai, Arizona, USA
Don’t forget your hiking boots if you want to visit!
Located within the Havasu Canyon, the village of Supai is extremely isolated. This iconic site is home of the Havasupai American Indian Tribe, who have lived in the canyon (and the larger Grand Canyon) for at least 800 years. Visit Supai by an 8 mile hike from the canyon top above or by helicopter- it’s your choice! Just make sure you bring some drinking water along for the journey!
