Volleyball is included due to its constant jumping. When you go up to spike the ball, you land in a squatting position. This is a position you hold all day long while you ski and snowboard. The full-body movement that goes into volleyball from moving from side-to-side, jumping, and using your upper body all help improve your overall fitness.
