How to Beat Off-Season Laziness and Stay Active

Running

It is essential that you keep up a habit of running every couple days. Building a strong endurance will help you breathe easier in higher altitude, and you will be able to ski or board longer into the afternoon. Alternate running with sprinting and jogging to boost metabolism, and try to increase your speed and distance throughout the summer. Trail running is a fun way to be in the mountains again, and you will give your legs a more challenging workout.
