Aviation emissions will soon be curbed
In a recent United Nations accord, the world has agreed for the first time to make strides towards lowering the greenhouse gas emissions from airplanes. In the past, transportation vehicles such as trucks and ships have been taken into consideration for their environmental impact, but planes have not. Finally effort is being made to include aircrafts.

Hurricane Matthew is headed to the east coast
In case you didn’t know, hurricane Matthew has been classified as a category 4 hurricane with winds of 140 mph (220 kph). It recently passed over Haiti, killing nearly 264 people in it’s path. Is global warming to blame?

Bees are officially endangered
Last week, seven different species of bees were declared endangered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This is the first time these bees have ever been considered endangered, so from here on out we will see more protection for these important insects. How will this affect the future of the bee population?
