Old Jewish Cemetery, Prague

This unbelievably overcrowded cemetery dates back to 1478. It’s gotten full so many times that graves and gravestones are just layered on top of each other now. There are now twelve layers of graves and about 12,000 visible tombstones, but more than 100,000 people buried.
