One Day in Dubrovnik, Croatia

By  |

Morning

Head to Dubrovnik’s fortified Old Town first thing. You’ll want to beat the cruise ship crowds, who come en mass from 10:00am to 6:00pm.  Make sure to grab coffee and a delicious pastry at one of the many bakeries. Look for Gradska Kavana café next to the Rector’s Palace, where you’ll find sweet and savory options.

One of Dubrovnik’s most popular attractions is walking the walls of the city. The sun is blaringly hot in the afternoon, so I suggest making your way as early as possible. You’ll find the entrance near the Pile Gates (main entrance to the walled Old Town). Don’t forget extra water and your Khaleesi wig for pictures!
