Adding croutons
Who doesn’t love the salty, savory and crunchy bite of a really good crouton with their salad? Too bad most commercial croutons are fried, so they’re very high in fat. They’re also high in carbs, so they’re a double whammy for people trying to watch their weight.
Maybe some roasted chickpeas will help hit the spot instead of those delicious little squares of carbs. Sure, chickpeas are high in calories and fat, but they’re much healthier than croutons in every way.
